Chedid Capital is looking for a Financial Accounts Manager that will be responsible for monitoring accounting activities in line with reporting principles and regulations. The Financial Accounts Manager will lead the team with proper task allocation and instructions. They will ensure timely closing, transactions are fully captured and accurate.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the accounting team, set daily tasks, and engage with the Senior Manager as needed to ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing.
  • Oversee the implementation of the annual management plan and align departmental activities with strategic goals.
  • Develop and track performance objectives, generate periodic reports, and recommend improvements to enhance departmental effectiveness.
  • Ensure full compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and local regulations, applying new standards as required.
  • Coordinate with other departments and business units to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting across all transactions.
  • Monitor and maintain process checklists, ensure timely updates, and validate that transactions are processed accurately and without errors.
  • Manage the approval cycle and documentation of all financial activities, ensuring strong internal controls are in place.
  • Identify tax exposure risks across regions, propose optimization strategies, and discuss findings with the Senior Manager.
  • Act as the main point of contact for auditors and external parties, ensuring timely communication and complete documentation.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate the accounting team, promoting a culture of continuous development, collaboration, and high performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent in a similar field. CPA certificate is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a similar role.
