Chedid Insurance Brokers, a company member of Chedid Insurance Brokers Network, the insurance broking network of Chedid Capital, is looking for an Account Supervisor. The role includes negotiating coverage terms, reporting hit and renewal ratios, handling general claims, ensuring AML/KYC compliance, and assisting management with consultancy contracts and tenders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as intermediary between clients (individuals & commercial entities) and the insurance companies.
  • Gather information from clients and follow up on their needs in coordination with technical team
  • Build & maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients and insurers including scheduling and attending meetings with clients to understand the nature of clients’ businesses and their changing needs and insurers to solidify relations.’
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities from existing customers.
  • Monitor and report on monthly basis the hit ratio and renewal ratio to the management
  • Carry out presentations to clients on behalf of the insurers to explain to them the benefits, terms & conditions of the insurance policies
  • Manage and supervise the handling all types of general claims and coordinate with the insurance companies till their final settlement.
  • Work on in compliance, AML and KYC documentation in line with the applied AML regulations & rules.
  • Report potential suspicious money laundering transactions to the Compliance Department who will coordinate with the regulatory bodies.
  • Insure the proper implementation by both parties (CIB & insurer).
  • Assist the management in managing and handling consultancy contracts and tender bids

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent in a similar field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the same field or a similar field
